Mr. Jon Wood, Ocean Data's founder and President, is a senior ocean engineer with over 20 years experience designing, installing, and servicing oceanographic data acquisition systems in deepwater, continental shelf, coastal, and estuarine regions worldwide.
Ocean Data provides data acquisition systems and services to measure the following:
- Vertical profiles of ocean currents in deep water regions
- Shallow water, coastal, and estuarine circulation and tides
- Ocean waves in both deepwater and coastal regions
- Seafloor currents for pipeline studies
